I find that response unacceptable. Shouldn't be spamming people, should have gotten a cease and desist PM from staff.

Hitting the 'ignore' button means you don't have to see anything the person posts. Once you report them, what the mods then do to a person who is behaving in such an unacceptable manner is up to them, and probably won't be shared with you (we aren't even supposed to discuss moderation here).

Does "ignore" also keep them from sending PMs to you?

don't know about that bruce but when you ignore anyone you won't see any of their posts. But, you will see if anyone quotes them and also see what likes they give others.

There is a notice that there is a post by an ignored member and you can click if you want to see it. There is one person I have ignored.

I've had to do it from time to time and I think it's beyond excellent. Sometimes just a short period of ignoring - takes the sting out.

I think IF an ignored person started a convo with you, it would be prefixed with
"you are ignoring this member." or you just don't reply.
