okay say Bad girl, bad girl! was doing fine walking past other peeps but they had 6 BC marans pullets at the feed store went after 40lb farm cat food and oyster for chickens had the peeps I have wanted all along but only bought 4

14 bags of icing ready to go. That's a lot of work.

It takes 2 bags per color. 1 is a stiffer icing to do the outlines, borders, and some of the decorations. The borders, and outlines create the boundaries to prevent the flow icing from spreading all over, and/or flowing off the edge of the cookies. 2 is the flow icing, which is much thinner, and flows to fill in the outlined areas. I also have orange, and black. I'm going to attempt to make a chick hatching out of an egg.

My DW had me drive her Esparto-- about 17 miles from my place-- so that she could take care of some chores for the Pastors of the Church there. three years ago I sold them 4 hens of mine. Three of them were killed in a dog attack last Fall. At the last chick days in the Fall, we bought 6 Black Stars and raised them up to 6 weeks old for them.

When we got to the place today, I was shocked to see that the Pastor and his wife left on thursday and left the door to the run and the coops open. Of the 7, 5 were Dead and one was suffering with a completely scraped off back. She was one of my Pita Pintas that survived the dog attack from last fall. The 7th was alive with a small wound on the neck. I euthanized the one that was nearly dead and the survivor is getting the wound treated.

I would have expected them to have learned from the last attack. It was quite sad and I am not going to help them with getting more hens! There were two little dogs on the property that we had to run off. All indications are that it was a dog attack.
