Supposed to be spring tomorrow, yet we still have enough snow that the dog can look me in the eye while I do dishes ... I'd say it's still about 3 feet deep there.

We're back, and that is a happy thing. Trip was great, but I love HOME.
It is hard to see stuff like that happen!I totally understand ron. When I raised dogs - it seemed like almost every litter had one BIG male pup, sweet as sugar but can I say HOMELY? Couldn't sell them but, I was able to give away two through someone I thought was a friend. She took them back to Iowa with her and said they got good homes. UH HUH!! Then she would eventually say they both got killed - running in the street to fetch balls.![]()
When someone makes an excuse, like stray dogs, sometimes it's best to interject that it's not the stray dogs, foxes, and raccoons at fault. The fault lies with the owner not keeping the flock safe from stray dogs, foxes, raccoons, etc. Still, I would never sell, or give them another chicken.
