Thank god mom is covered for now. Cousin needs a place to stay and will begin the move in process at moms house in June... Shes about eleven years older than me so right between mom and I .

It has to do with My self deprecating attitude... Ever write a journal about the things you say to yourself... I wrote one once for about a week and was told not to go back and read till the time was up.... I would have never spoken to another human being like I do to my self.

There is this local meat market I used to go to when my daughters were small. It had great prices on meats. After a few years, the owner got sick, and I assume due to medical bills, and him not being there, the quality deteriorated. He sold it, and I had read that the new owners eventually got it back up to snuff.

I had been telling my daughter that I wanted to go check it out. Finally, yesterday she agreed to go with me. My gosh, we hit the jackpot. The meat prices were good. In addition, they had NY strips on sale for $5.00 a pound. We don't often eat high on the hog, but at those prices, and these are beautiful steaks, we splurged. When we got to the seafood section, my daughter grabbed a package of their shrimp, that was BOGO. These are the extra large, frozen, cleaned, 30 count for 2 pounds of shrimp for $19.98 the first package, second free. Wal Mart, and Publix get more than that for a single package of them, and these were BOGO. Well, we checked out, loaded our stuff in the truck, when Dd told me she had been stashing some money. We went back in, got more steaks and packages of shrimp. That kind of deal is not going to come back around for awhile, if ever. My freezer is full, and once a month for several months, we can eat high on the hog.

I've decided that trying to keep 5 pups out of mischief is a lot like trying to keep shoes and socks and sometimes clothes on 5 toddlers.

I think you need 7' tall no climb fence with a 3' shirt on the ground!

And it's really hard to erase that tape that loops in our head.

Darn right. You play that tape night after night and it just keeps coming back.
