deb, check into what senior services might be available in your area, especially those that deal with Alzheimer's/Senile Dementia. Here they several types of senior centers here. One of the types of centers, is like senior daycare. It's for families that work, but take care of people like your grandmother during the day. They don't have to be in all week, but are geared to do a one, or two day a week schedule. IF something like that is available, you might consider it for one day a week. I know several people that are, or have been in a similar situation as your, and they were a bit hesitant at first, but in a few weeks were claiming it was a true blessing. One friend said her aunt hated it the first day, but after a couple times, looked forward to going each week. Eventually she wanted to go twice a week. They offer a multitude of things for them to enjoy, and it gives them peers closer to their own age to interact with. It's usually covered by Medicare, or mostly, so it's free to you, or costs next to nothing. Having one day a week for yourself, knowing she's in good hands, might be a very good thing for you.

Slowly in my day as well. Woke up with a back ache. Last night I rolled over onto my back. I NEVER sleep on my back.... Even when I was healthy. Paid the price till the pain meds kicked in. So now I am bright eyeed and Bushy Tailed....
