I guess I cant count the times it rains and DOESNT HIT THE GROUND.... lolPerhaps he should get a flock of sheep and put them in his yard to do the mowing. I try to never mow when the grass is wet but sometimes even 2 days after the last rain it is wet enough to glue the cut bits to the inside of the deck, everywhere except where they blades are spinning. Takes a good half hour to scrape it all out.He was told if he didn't mow his lawn they would have to ticket him, rain or not.
Yep.... wet lawn is no fun to mow.Perhaps he should get a flock of sheep and put them in his yard to do the mowing. The "Light in the Valley" design is an Amish designed quilt. It boggles my mind to think about piecing together all those tiny shapes and shades to get the design. I used to think Tumbling blocks was complex but this one beats it out hands down. I think they sell for a couple thousand dollars each.
I seems to recall hearing that, yes!Have I mentioned lately that I hate Windows 10. Just for the record, I do. Grrrrrrr!
Good solution!Weed whacker the lawn? I wish our yard was that small. We have about 2-3 acres that we mow then there is the runway for DH's RC planes...the trails back in the timber.....We'd need a lot of weed eaters.
Just put a bid on backing material on fleabay. It looks like chicken wire!
I am attending a swap! Then going to visit my new pup( see Avatar) . And later, my son, and his wife are visiting with my new Granddaughter! It's actually easier than you might think. It's done with strip method, so for this one you'd cut 1.5 inch strips and then sew the entire strip to the color in a strip you'd need, and then once you have 5 or 6 together in the order they need to be in, you slice them so you're working with a group of squares rather than one square at a time. This is how I did Mario and it's how a bargello is made.

Happy Friday, y'all. Anyone got fun weekend plans? Looks like it is finally not going to rain here this weekend so I might mow the lawn, go trolling for stones to fix on a weekend I'm not working (I'm not working this weekend but I did pick up call this weekend for some extra money so I'll be on duty 32 hours... and need to be clean to be able to come in at a moments notice and not covered in lichen and dirt). I'm hoping to either get the row by row together with some background fabric and ready to quilt or get my 3D (tumbling block) quilt on the longarm and start quilting it.
