Wanted to share a pic of the birthday gift my Mom and sisters got for me. He roosts beside my bed

forgot to add the 2nd pic. DUH

I love, love, love this! Is he heavy? Does he crow in the morning when the sun comes up?

No he is not heavy. Made of some kind of resin (prob 20 lbs) And I wish he did crow
That quilt was a gift but my Mom and I have quilting frames and have made quite a few quilts. I love sleeping under a quilt. Nothing like it

I did have my Starbucks. But I noticed someone thought the purple egg was from me. It wasn't. I have a project going on for them and get lavender eggs, but when someone has a purple egg and it becomes breakfast......Let's just say, I'm heartbroken. And I noticed nakie processes chickens. One could be a purple layer????? I need more mocha!

Sadly we are without a Starbucks. We have the coffee shoppe and bless their hearts they try but the quality is subpar. Thank goodness I have a tassimo

Out in the Bay Area there are tons of coffee shos that can top Starbucks, but Starbucks is everywhere out here. My husband used to take me with him tho San Francisco when he picked up his checks. The place in the Embacadero had a great intersection. Three of 4 corners had a Starbucks. The lines were still long. One time I had a mocha from all 3. LOL

Man, I've missed some posts!

Someone ate a purple egg! Just not right..someone posted naked chickens! Really just not right. Someone had to spend a night in a motel, that's ok, and someone had a great big rooster given to them that can roost beside her bed forever, that's really really ok! Someone is sleeping under a beautiful quilt..that's always great.
Now, what can I offer up..SCG has the good food...Starbucks has been mentioned..... so..guess I will have to add.................

Only if you come pick up my mud.

It was 56 degrees this morning. My skating rink of a yard and driveway melted overnight.

Into 4 inches of mud.

Looks like it'll get below freezing here again tonight, and hopefully all the mud will stiffen back up and stop trying to steal my boots. I'll take snow over mud, even if I have to shovel it.

Yup we have had the same. TOo hot at 61 then to 40 by afternoon, freezing now, guessing mid 20's. From snow to ice to mud to WINDS!! SHeesh-- lost the crow tree

and a couple big ones in the woods. Great firewood though!!

Sorry about your tree, Arielle. We've had strange weather this week -- for January anyway -- 75 degrees, tornado watches, lots of rain and wind. Now it's clear and should get into the 20's tonight.
