.........SOMEBODY... whose name shall not be revealeD Here........... went to the coop to collect eggs and left the door open, all night. I saw my rooster in the back yard at daylight and panicked. I threw on clothes and ran out to find most of the flock in the open dog pen WITH the chicken eating dog! He was in his dog house just looking at them. It was cold and he has a bit of arthritis and evidently didn't want to get up just yet. Ho harm, no (dead) fowl. One miffed DW.

Goat's in raging heat today, I've set up a boyfriend appointment for her later this afternoon. Now I've got to figure out how I'm going to get her in the Suzuki.

Is it sad that I have the Valium and not the pantyhose?

(I'm a wreck at the dentist... I have one very old Valium left from my last (and first) cavity last summer. I cried the whole time he was filling it. No amount of drugs would have made that a good experience for me).

Suzuki's cleaned out. I have a tarp and a blanket down. Bringing BF for crowd control while I'm driving. This is going to be fun. We also have to go through an ATM to get money for the tryst.

The worst part was getting her away from the wether and into the car.



Once we got out of hearing range from the screaming wether she didn't make another peep until we got her to the buck. She was polite, continent and quiet in the car. I couldn't have asked for a better goat.

The buck was not quite what I was expecting. He also wasn't in rut anymore (the owner wasn't sure if he was or not). He sniffed her a few times, she peed on his face, and that was all the action there was. Well, that's not true. The bucks companion wether got out and tried to mount Augustina. That was a bit awkward.

She didn't want to leave him. She was very upset when he was taken back to his house. Again, we struggled with getting her into the car. She wouldn't get out of the car once we got home, either, no matter how much the wether yelled.
