The Old Folks Home

Wisher,
Here's my favorites:

This one is a boy:

And a group shot from both hatches. You can see Godzilla in front. I have no idea what that chicken is but it is going to quite possibly be the biggest chicken I've ever had.

And today's weather report for those of you looking at daffodils:

I am done with snow. Unfortunately, it is not done with me.

SCG, while I haven't experienced it, I can certainly understand why you are done with snow.
After inches of rain this week, we had a sunny pleasant day -- I drug out the shorts to work in the flower bed.

Adorable chicks!

I don't suppose you know what color eggs they came out of?

Wisher,
Here's my favorites:

OOOOooo, interesting, Is that a beard I see? Interesting pattern on the wings.

Is this a close-up of Godzilla? I had one of these in my last batch, I think it is a SLW and BO cross. He should dress out well for you. You said you wanted some decent sized birds for the freezer, right?!

Sweet little feather-legged fuzzy butt!

Now this one looks more like the EEs I raised (the hens) except there are no puffy cheeks and the leg color is wrong! Wow, that could be anything!

Sorry, SCG! I was outside today in shorts and a t-shirt and when the dog and I walked in the woods, I stepped in several springs in my crocks and didn't even mind too much!

Cute chicks

I found my loaf pan but forgot to get beer so no bread for Me.

I'm pretty sure I got burnt sitting outside today it was hot. The good news is we, well dh I just watched anyways he managed to get all the holes dig for fence and we even got some set.

Haven't even cleaned this storm up yet (approx 12 inches fell), and the next one for Tuesday night is predicted at 6+ inches.

Going to my mentally happy place... (there's no bugs there, either, or at least not in my little bubble).
