Oh this is just excitement, and eager to see what is going on, THe thrill of what is to come!! I candled all the time, and fussed. CUrious, Wrote a notebook ful of observations. I couldn't see development in a 5 day egg, but with practice I can now IF they are light brown-- marans? Naught!! Up at mignight, when the house was quiet, and the house dark. Obsessed? Yes!How do you deal with the waiting? I set 6 assorted mix NN eggs on Sunday and all I want to do is candle them (I haven't touched them), they wont show anything till Saturday anyway. But the waiting is killing me. Instant gratification is the American way and patience has never been my strong suit.
Enjoy the eggs-- it's the excitement that children experience-- I know I felt young again.
