Well You know if you keep hinting at this "epic" project we are going to bug you until you tell us what it is!

I learned a long time ago that whenever someone tells you about a secret project. They love to be bugged about it.
Now the way to learn of said EPIC project is NOT ask or beg or even mention it and that someone will spill the beans cause no one is playing the game...

Now that does not mean we are not dieing to find out what it is because we are.

Having seen Sarge my MW Tom attempt the deed with an actual turkey hen (not my cross-legged knee), I can see why turkey girls are so calmly submissive.

And I'm glad he's a MW, because he stood on the back of Edna, one of my BBB hens, treading for quite some time. He even just STOOD there for a while - almost as if he forgot what he was there for - before really working to get his tail into the correct position. She adjusted her tail, he leaned back, maybe they connected, and then he fell of.

No two seconds of wing dance foreplay and three seconds of mounting like chickens.

Turkey hens gotta be patient, apparently.

Unless Sarge is just an idiot.

I have some very confused ducks.

After taking our friends to the houses this morning we took them to Hussey's General Store. Their motto: If we ain't got it, you don't need it. It's a pretty true motto - 3 floors of everything you could need.

Including...



My friends were not that impressed. I think they felt like they stumbled across the mecca for rednecks.

LOVE IT ! ( hehe) and the eggs too . . . .

Phew it's been a long weekend and so much more to do tomorrow I'm dreading it. My dad passed away yesterday and me being the oldest competent child guess who gets to do all the paperwork/handling his finances. My niece he had custody of is now living with me still gotta figure exactly how all that's gonna work. Right now she is taking it well I'm not sure it's hit her yet. But both the girls have now decided they want to live on a farm and become farm girls. This is really funny because me and dh was discussing this the other day. This place will be paid off in another year and we can start saving for our dream farm lol.

I'm so sorry. Next month marks 3 yrs since losing my mom, then May 2st will be same time of my dad and July same time as my husband. Death can really do things to you. Things will work out with the niece. Hang in there, I know it isn't easy and you're gonna have to deal with things for a while, so remember to take care of you!

Thanks everyone and wisher dh has been amazing the little stuff he does reminds me how amazing he truly is. After deciding my niece was coming to live with us without asking him he said not one word. When I got my head together I did talk talk to him about it and he was ok with it. My boss was supposed to give us 500 dollars for the honeymoon after discussing it last night he was ok with putting it towards funeral cost if we have to. God I love that man.
