I have a few in and can't seem to get the count right. Mostly SS and BCM with a few extras tossed in like muscovy , burr orpington and a couple green eggers that are also sexlinks Think I am going to put them in cartons instead and make counting and turning easier. lol I just have to remeber that I cut the cartons down to 10 and count by 10's not 12's, that messed me up last summer. LOL

OH TIck, take the shower first THEN the soaking. ANd if my kids can use rice packs for aches and pains, so can you. FIll a new  tube sock with white rice, tie end in a know. Microwave 2-3 minutes, can be VERY hot and need a towel between rice sock and skin. Feels wonderful.

NEver mind th BUcket list, you have the house list . . . .  me too.

Love the rice socks they are wonderful and last forever. I use the odds sock the dryer ate the mate to. Im sure this goes without saying but I will say it anyway. Make sure and use CLEAN socks with no holes in them.

Phew it's been a long weekend and so much more to do tomorrow I'm dreading it. My dad passed away yesterday and me being the oldest competent child guess who gets to do all the paperwork/handling his finances. My niece he had custody of is now living with me still gotta figure exactly how all that's gonna work. Right now she is taking it well I'm not sure it's hit her yet. But both the girls have now decided they want to live on a farm and become farm girls. This is really funny because me and dh was discussing this the other day. This place will be paid off in another year and we can start saving for our dream farm lol.

Very sorry about your father. hugs!

Dryers don't eat socks. Socks are the larval form of hangers.

Orthoopedist said I would have trouble with arthistis in my wrist due to a bad break ( kicked by horse) and I do find eating a low carb diet makes the pain go away. Took two years to fully heal and now I usually foreget it was a problem. . . . . one more reason to stay LC for me.
I've just started with the wheat free diet and I'm liking it a lot. I really am sleeping better now. Not losing much weight yet but I think that'll come.

Morning. the young stud was put to pasture after a hot bath, a cold shower and a deep sleep.
Now how long he stays gone, who knows but today is a much mellow day, just because. When I snapped my leg tendons, I was turned on to the hot white rice trick. Use it whenever I am sore or tight. Yes, the sock holes can be a bummer as I have found loose bits on rice around the place before. A pin hole can suddenly become the bringer of rice trails and sore feet. I do find a dirty sock works best. snickers.... Something about the dirt and germs makes it penetrate deeper.

Now with me, I find I hurt less if i am moving, never giving the pain any time to get going. The normal aches and pain of over doing it, I can take. it's the old battle wounds that can kick my butt if I slow down....

Bama, sorry for your loss...

You could be right but once when I had to repair our Dryer, I found 8 odd matched socks inside the drum by the motor. so yes, Dryers do eat socks. nothing else but socks.....

Silly question for the day...... how do you spell alot??? alot or a lot??? as in I have alot to do.

Now my day is complete. anytime I feel the need to get Bitchie slapped. (notice how I try to get past the censored version), I have it here.

ok, everyone enjoy their day. I have alot to do but am taking my time, enjoying life and just being me......

A lot: as in a peck of, a group of, a lot of. There is a word "allot" which means to apportion something.

I have a problem.. My incubator freaked out and was at 104-106 last night for maybe 4-6 hrs. I'm on day 16.I candled and there is some sluggish movement this morning. Do you guys think they will be OK?
