I know she is the pro! I just did not know how to reach her! Thank you so much Oz! And yes she was very quick to respond!
I am not giving up on the little one! She keeps telling me shes a fighter! But she keeps kicking the sack! UGH!

I've helped many a chick out. I also put Neosporin on the yolk if there is any left when it hatches. Just gently smear some on. If there is enough egg left when I see that it hasn't absorbed it all, I snuggle that chick right back into the egg and let it sit there for the day. But it sounds like there is no egg here..whoever said put it in a cup for a while, that's a good idea..have done that too. Good luck. Sometimes they absorb it all, sometimes not when there is that much. But even with a big belly button.. they can do well... it will eventually drop off if it gets down to a smaller size..even a pea size. Use the Neo... it keeps it soft and helps keep infection away.

I want to send my compliments to both Wolftracks and Airelle.. I just read your recent posts on the New Crazy 24 Hour Auction and the way that both of you ladies responded to some of the comments regarding the "Americanas" auction was top notch. You both shutdown the snickerers and nasty posts and eased the auction poster without insulting anyone. Fine examples of how to act properly...class acts.....WAY TO GO! You are two of the reasons the Old Folks Home forum is a friendly community of individuals.
