Quote: Yup!! My kids need to know how to work hard. No whining. Get dirty. Wash the dishes. Wash and hang the clothes. Hold a lamb to bandage a leg. Feed a bottle to the lamb. Find good eats in the garden . . . . not many kids do this around here.
Cub scout leader asked if her kids could come to the farm in the spring when the babies are born. . . . . hmmmm. . . .will they do all the chores??
Quote: I was starting to wonder . . . . my kids still crab about all the work. Except for the chopping of fire wood and building a fire!!
Quote:DO we all get one now??![]()
Need to go outside in a few minutes to make dinner. 'm hungry. INot to mention that home grown birds taste much better than anything you get in the store, plus you know they had a good life.
I only eat meat that I've raised and that we've butchered ourselves, with the exception of very occasional moose or deer that BF hunted.
THis is a good one Ron!! ROTFL
