Speaking of swallowing bugs - were we?

I was thinking about stainless steel mesh sink strainers. Okay so everyone doesn't do that. If they could fashion them to fit the average human mouth - they would be great as bug strainers - no more swallowed stink bugs, flies, gnats etc. Maybe I could get this patented. Also nostril strainers because I have had gnats fly in my nose and I couldn't get them out with Kleenex. I hope they didn't migrate to my brain. But who knows.

Oh my, I think you have come up with something! Go for it! Prototype, patent, sell it!

Pita Pinta update:

I processed two of the smaller boys today. The dressed out at a bit over 3 pounds at 16 weeks old.

Wow, those look really nice..you process yourself? Great job! Bet they were, or will be..yummy since they are younger...wait, does that work like it does for a younger deer versus an older one?

Thank you!

Yes I processed them my self. I do all of it now. I grew up on a Prune Orchard and we had Animals too--we shared the work of processing but now I can't get my daughters to help. I hunted Quail after school when in High School to relive stress....I used to wait until I had 8 or so and would make Quail Stew.

They are resting in the fridge and I will cook them later in the week. Pita Pintas are supposed to be very tasty.

I bet they will taste like....Chicken.....

Frogs and toads are both in the Order Anura (or is it Anora?) and taxonomy makes no differentiation between the two. People have separated them into frogs and toads depending on where they live and the texture of their skin but these are actually all different Families. Tree frogs, garden toads, Poison dart frogs, are all amphibians that spend part of their life in water and part of it in the water. <--- Sorry, I hate it when I do that........
there are 94 species of amphibians in the philippines

the one in the picture is a "gets-squishy-between-your-toes-when-you-jam-your-foot-in-your-croc-frog"

they hang out under the lights at night and eat the bugs that fall.

Do it all ya want, Wisher, it's always a good thing to learn something new. Even at my age.
