Even though I had been taking eggs from underneath her, she stayed clamped down over nothing! So, I relented and gave her three flock eggs. She achieved her goal 3 days ago, hatching two chicks, so she won't have to move to the Ranch until her babies are raised. There are two of the Easter Hatch pullets I just like seeing around the house here, so I am not gonna move them. Maybe. I dunno. It's certainly not fair to move any of the Grand Dame hens merely to even out the rooster/hen ratio at the Ranch.
