It looks like it! I have seen people feed wild animals before, and I have bottle fed baby deer but I would love to hand feed an elephant! WOW!She said that elephant was the sweetest animal she ever met.
Love the pictures. Keep sharing.
We're still getting some sleet/snow but it's hopefully over, soon. Got probably 14 inches but then it rained for a few hours on it last night and compacted the heck out of it before turning back over to sleet and snow a few hours ago. It's still pretty thick in some areas (over my boots), though. Going out now to attempt to snowblow what I can before I have to head to work at 2pm. Oh and in good news, right now we are "in the crosshairs" for the storm coming up the coast tomorrow evening.
I am done! DONE!It is no longer pretty. It is no longer magical. MAKE IT STOP!![]()
I am so glad to be a Texan today!!!! 70's for several days. 50's at night. Just remember while I'm gloating that we have to survive our August weather when it often tops 100. Ugh. We have actually had colder than usual weather this winter. Hopefully knock down the bug population. Hasn't been friendly for utility bills.
Ugh, I do not envy you. At a certain point the adventure becomes somehow less so, huh?
Oh well, just think of how fortunate you will feel in May and June when anything you plant will grow while I struggle to keep the dust at bay in the spring winds with no precip whatsoever.
Quote: Ah, a little reverse psychology for Mother Nature!
Didn't realize your growing season was that short. Bummer.
