I was contributing the "50lbs" to all the hard work you are doing on the treadmill!

Nope more like plus 10 from all the food I've been eating to avoid freezing to death.

Now I'm just sitting waiting to get into my snow gear to battle the enemy. I knew I should have gotten two cartons of ice cream instead of one - at Wallys yesterday. One is already half gone. Plus my ice cream cones used to be 24 in a box, yesterday I saw it was down sized to 18. ***. Odd that they just focus on me isn't it?

What kind of a hat covers that head of yours?

Erm, you do know that wasn't a picture of me, right? I'm first of all not that stupid to be out in shorts and secondly, if I was that stupid I certainly don't have the body to wear that. Now maybe if I did have the body to wear that I'd wear it all the time, even if it was snowing...

I used to love jumping out of hot tubs in the mountains and making snow angels.

People told me that wasn't good for you. It was fun and tingly though.

No, I didn't know that wasn't you. I wouldn't think that you are stupid, I would just think it's that witty humor coming out. I'm sure that gal was right back in the house as soon as the photo was shot. Silly..anyway, oh good, you didn't do your hair that red.

I am pleased that people post pictures of themselves doing all kinds of silly things on the internet - saves me having to repeat them!

Last night’s storm spared most of the area with only very light accumulations. A slight shift in track and slightly weaker storm explain why many towns in Southern and Central Maine received a few inches of of snow. Some midcoast communities are near a half foot. Eastern Maine on the other hand is getting hit hard by the storm early this morning. As of 6:30 AM, Eastport is reporting nearly 17” of snow.

I'm guessing Eastport also scoffed at my reverse snow psychology. Suckers!

Although, I'd rather get a foot of snow than any amount of ice. Good luck to ya.



Yup, we're supposed to get it again on Tuesday and Wednesday (and in the 10 day forecast, again on Sunday and Tuesday). I'm not sure the snow is going to fall for my faked excitement again this time. Maybe I'll try to psych it out by starting seeds or something.

Gotta tell ya the one this morning was nasty. Several hours of rain that froze as it hit the ground. It was followed by about an hour of sleet and then we got about 4 or 5 inches of snow.

All that was followed by a rise in temps to about 45 today. We had to whip out our flippers and swim for it!

I think this winter has made me CRAZY!!
