Now you know what it's like to be in Alabama in April! We get too used to it and don't take it as seriously as we should. Don't take any chances, find a basement to get in!

This is traditional April St. Louis weather. It's just been a couple years. It'll be near 80 today and near freezing a couple nights in the next week, plus saturated air = strong storms.
Thank heavens...it coulda easily been this...blah!

Oh yeh, sorry, can't be YOU...no real black ones in that mix.

Tara - who can make jokes when the coast is clear!!!

I did have a big storm blow through during the night a few years ago and blew the top off of a grow out pen of 3 week old freedom rangers and blew one into the next county. The rest were wet but sitting tight at dawn.

You guys have had a brutal winter.
A friend that I sent some Penes to last fall lives in northern Wisconsin. She's had a tough go this year.

i will have to try to find 1 of those. I like planting unusual things. My dw is going be shocked when the peter peppers start making. They came as a freebie when i ordered carolina reaper seeds. They are going to look strange in a mason jar for pepper sauce

You know...there would be a million of us chickeners that would just HAVE to have these simply based on fruit shape ...torment us all into giving them a go...hee hee. Green thumbs or naught...I often refer to myself as the "village idiot gardener" where things do often LIVE despite me.

Do make sure and remember to post us some pics. You know we are gonna love them.

Tara
