Oh no. so sorry. Did you ever get rid of the rats? And now this.

I was awakened by my chickens the other night, heard them flapping wings and then some falling off of the roost..jumped up out of bed, got my Ziggy up, my Schnoodle..turned on the back yard light, let Ziggy out and said, go get em! By then I was seeing a streak of black and white running across the back yard. A cat. It actually went inside the coop. Ziggy chased it all the way over the fence. I am seeing cat crap out in my front flower/veggie bed too. Time to get out my live trap.

Good luck on getting those weasels. Mean little buggers.

Thank you for the prayers. Maddy is the only one who enjoys these trips to the doctor. Not even shots scare her. And that child cleaned up on stickers. I have 3 new ones on my laptop now and Maddy is in the tub making water balloons out of blue surgical gloves. So far the water is staying in the tub. Watching the Spurs and eating Papa Johns Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza.

Glad Maddy is doing well. She sounds like a trooper..just like my son with Spina Bifida on Fris..Friday was clinical day for a loong time until he was older, and they had tried just about everything out there they could on him. Back in the 80's, those kids were the pioneers of what works and didin't work for this that and another thing. I had to say no several times to some things they wanted to do, or, even do some things that the nurses weren't good at while he was in the hospital after a surgery. Those were the days. Now he's on his own, and we help at times, but he pretty much takes care of himself. He had to call an ambulance on Mother's Day. Didn't tell me until days later. Was bleeding again from a bad catheter. He's very scarred and very sensitive to bleeding starting. He loses a lot of blood if he doesn't get to the ER. Doing well now.
You say the water stayed in the tub with those gloves? How in the world did that happen? Those things make great quirt guns. Lots of water, lots, comes out of those suckers!

Cynthia, how did the cat get into your coop?

If bernie was still working for me I would ask him for his cat recipe. It would be useful for Cynthia and with a little spice modification could also work on weasel

I have caught many housecats in my traps. i think i told you guys the time i thought i caught a housecat in the trap and it turned out to be a bobcat (bf identified it).
