heaven, my mom dog is getting special treatment now..I am making her special meals because she's had diarrhea. Can happen after having pups. Trying the more bland diet, with some of her own food mixed in. She hasn't asked to go out for a while..has had two meals now.

It's not unusual. We have both acute and long term care. As you can imagine, and as many of you know, constipation is a big problem in the elderly. Butttt (pun intended) not all suppositories are for constipation or hemorrhoids.
I gave my big project to its recipient today. Short of questions and an eventual follow up to that project, it's out of my hands. My days will hopefully start to look better now and maybe I'll sleep a bit more sound not having to worry about it.

Corid is Amprolium and is a thiamin disrupter. They Cysts die for lack of nutrition.

The trick is to treat to kill the load and then the second half strength treatment regimen is to build resistance. They may need a treatment or two later. It is not a problem usually after they are 18 weeks old or so.

1. treatment strength(20% corid, 1.5 to 2 tsp. per gallon) for 5 to 7 days

2. then half strength for 5 to 7 days.

You will be less likely to need repeat treatment if you do the two treatments.
