Why wouldn't they be on the internet? For some reason, merchants used to think that displaying the price lessens interest in it. I have found the opposite to be true. If one store shows the price for something, and the other doesn't, I'll go ti the store that does if I think the price is right. Hiding the price just means people won't even bother finding out what it costs.Do you realize that I just googled the above prices??? How can that be on the internet?![]()
Decent bread is about 3-4 euros for a loaf weighing maybe a bit less than a pound. In the summer, we get cheap fruit, but come winter, the prices go up.@vehve

And, the places that are off of the road system in Alaska are more expensive (Nome and Bethel).
Oh, a loaf of bread is about $5 for good stuff.
Apples aren't very expensive here since they travel well. But things like corn are usually over one dollar each.

Quote: Hashish cost about 10 euros per gram when I was a teenager. Last I heard, it was about 20, so about 750 bucks per ounce. I don't know if you can get buds nowadays, but when I was a kid, the crappy stuff was all that was sold. Or so I've heard. Errm. You know.
