We cut the meat a bit differently, but entrecote is usually between 20-30 euros per kilo, so 13-20 usd for a pound. Sirloin would be about 15-20 euros per kilo, so about 9-13 bucks per pound. Tomatoes, Spanish about a euro per kilo, Finnish 3-5 euros. Whole chickens aren't really sold that often, but the cheapest legs are usually 2-3 euros per kilo, sometimes 1 euro on sale.

In California, even at Walmart, meat is closer to Your prices. Costco sell ground beef for $3.89 a pound here. Rib Eye is over $10.00 per pound.

I watched Fox news faithfully for several years. When Glenn Beck got so silly with his blackboard, I sort of dropped off. Now, I have solved the whole thing, I don't watch news anymore. My family talks about it and I get it that way. And on here. (Still love Glenn Beck, but, you know........)
