@Alaskan The aspen would not have had much of a chance growing big in the spot it was in, there was only maybe 100 gallons of soil there, and not much space for roots as it's solid rock under the soil. Besides, it would of taken at least 15-20 years for it to grow nice looking. I really dislike the look of young leaf trees. The plum tree should start producing at least some fruit in a few years, so it's a lot more useful.

I suck on the belly before cracking them open, then I eat the scissors, and then the tail. Not much more to eat on our crayfish.

We have a few wild plum trees here. The fruit is about the size of a large grape. They are delicious though.

I'm hoping my magical compost will make the tree grow like crazy and give us loads of plums next summer. Probably not going to happen though...
