I can either get rid of my chickens and ducks. Or find a gluten-free feed to make them. It's very upsetting. I had hoped for "more time" and that my long pink kimchi making gloves would protect me more.

My chickens make me so happy. I would be most unhappy to be rid of them. It's making me cry now thinking such things. They're my babies. Fluffy feathered babies. I love them more than my greyhounds, which is saying a lot.

Oh, honey, I'm go sorry. Maybe you can be hands off for a while and let bf do feeding, etc. Get the processing over with and then stay away for a few days.

I think I have figured out what's wrong with Reginald. He eats far too much. I had to take the ff out of the cage. He just won't stop eating, his crop is hugely distended and he's wheezing for air again.

Sorry about your gluten issues, sister is severely celeac... Not that I can spell it... It's a ruff allergy...
Any way could the bird have gape worm?

I am so blessed that my DH has just done a great job jumping in and taking care of my girls until I can walk again. It's breaking my heart not being able to take care of them, or even go out by them, for the past 2 months. All I can do is watch out the window, but knowing it will probably only be another month or so until I can start working on the girls getting to know me again, keeps my spirits up. I can't imagine the prospect of never having them again. I wish I had some sage advice for you but I have nothing. All I can do is offer a prayer. I hope you find an answer soon.

I have no idea if it works or how well it would work. As I forgot to go get apples from the neighbors. It's too late now.
