The Old Folks Home

Jem, I'm looking for a monthly subscription to some sort of magazine, not a book. Although, at the moment Karin is reading a book called "Pigs, poultry and poop" and judging by her giggling, it's pretty good.

Another good read is "Hen and the art of Chicken maintenence" written by a British columnest who happens to have chickens... Hilarous.

Truely the last magazine I subscribed to was Western Horseman.... sorry. I sent you a link to Grit on another post I think it was cold folks...

SCG, you wouldn't happen to have some copies left that you could snap a picture of the TOC's and pm them to me? That would give a good picture of what kind of stories they publish. I'm willing to give you a virtual pat on the back for you efforts, and you can also have a cup of coffee on you for your troubles

All have online versions.... might be easier.

Blink Blink. NOT a morning person..... today I take my mom in for Cataract surgery.... Her appointment is at Nine fifteen am..... and its a drive almost to Mexico to the Docs....

Dont know when I will get back I am just the driver.... I dont do hospitals and my cousin is going in with mom. So I will be able to nap in the car.

I leave in about 45 minutes to get coffee and stagger over to moms to pick them up.

Deb, we've got 4 of Martin Gurdon's books, he even signed the last one when we ordered it through Amazon (although that one is a fictional story, haven't read it yet). But the one's detailing his experiences with his flock are hilarious. I got the book you mentioned before we started with our chickens.

Hi everyone!
