So, the local fair here is pretty small, and there are always big sections for all of the stuff that the kids do, and the 4H kids etc.

Anyway, one year I was looking through the room where kids had put up poster boards that went over whatever project they had worked on (Kind of like a school science fair, but with more of a nature/animal focus). There was one big board covered with GRAPHIC photos.

The board went over how this kid had been raising a pig to show at the fair, a bear broke into the shed where the pig lived, and ate the pig, so now all the kid had was this poster.

Only in a rural area, huh?

I am too far south for polar bears.... we have lots of black bears, and then we have brown bears too, but they like to hang out by salmon streams.
