Dualhead monitor setups, that's something I like. When I still lived at home with my parents, I had two 17" CRT monitors set up to my desktop puter, that took a lot of space... but it's so much better when you need to research and produce something at the same time, you don't need to print out something or flip between windows, you can just have everything visible all the time. Don't have that kind of a setup at home anymore, but maybe I should remedy that. I do have two TFT's sitting in storage collecting dust.
thanks Felix I will dig in further. I have enough space to load up two or three memory hog drafting programs.
Auto Cad requires a student ID to get anything from them....
Sketchup I was surprised to find my Cousin who is a Professional Engineer uses it exclusively for his company.
I like the DraftSight offer but Didgital Designs doesnt offer a picture of the user interface. Digital Designs is a local company here that used to be the premier Autocad dealer. Then they went over to Solid Works... DraftSight is a solid works product... So that peeks my interest for a give it a try.
