Been known to walk all the way to the elevator and stand there trying to remember where I was going.... turn around and get to my office door and touch the door knob and remember where I was going..... ONLY to FORGET AGAIN and have to go back....

I am sooo glad I dont work in a Whack-A-Mole cube farm any more.... Or an equally small office. ONe of a bizillian worker bees.

shes going to be 69 in October.

shes nine years older than me. I will be 60 in June

She's 68, her exercise thing she sells must work.

Im not sure if she has good genes or good doctors..but she really is looking good to be 68-69. I was grilling when it was her turn to dance so I missed it. Im rooting for her to win. I hope she does good.
I have no idea who any of those other "stars" are. I think the dancers are more famous than alot of the "stars"

Poor DS#1 had all four wisdom teeth out today. He is hurting pretty bad and I am off work to look after him. I am actually enjoying taking care of my 6' tall "baby."

The broody hen hatched four of the eight eggs I gave her. Three were bright yellow and one was dark. The dark one was found in the nest dead with a compound fracture of the leg. I don't know if she stepped on it or killed it on purpose. I took one egg that had pipped and helped it hatch in the house and left the other three in the nest with her. I will pull them tomorrow and let her take care of the three....if she will. If I see that she won't, they will go in with the 32 that hatched yesterday and today. Cute little buggers............

I wonder if she killed it because it was a different color?

The broody I used last year, she had only black chicks for the first day, and then when I tried to give her some more chicks, some black and some different colors, she tried to kill the other colors.

She didn't care that her 4 black chicks turned into 17 black chicks, but no way was she going to let a chick of any other color stay alive.

What was funny... is she is a white Cochin.. I tried telling her that SHE was white, and had started out as a little white chick... but she didn't care.

When I raised dogs - my red female and black female used to be pretty much in sync - having puppies at the same time. Usually worked out great for me, my red girl would mother hers for about 3 days and then jump ship. The black female was a tremendous mother. She was dominant black and always had black puppies. But she loved red or blond ones. She was thrilled to take them over. I've always heard dogs are color blind. Well maybe not.

Back to forgetfulness - Almost every time I walk out of a store, someone is calling me back. I forget the grocery bag, forget my wallet, forget my change. I even got paged by the pharmacy that I left my cart in the store with my prescriptions. Luckily someone was nice enough to turn them back in. I am not doing it to get attention. How ditzy can you be to pay for something and walk away empty handed? Maybe because it is difficult(arthritis) for me to pull out the bills and coins - I use up too many brain cells.
