I just want to say good luck to all you ladies (and any gentlemen) out there that are fighting that herculean fight with weight and thank you for sharing your stories. I know it cannot be easy knowing how intolerant and insensitive the public is at times when it comes to being overweight. Where people would never think to say something rude to a person with a mental disability or a different physical disability, saying something mean to someone overweight still seems to be social acceptable in some people's minds. Deb, I completely understand the whole "easy keeper" reference and that is the kind of person I am now. Thanks to menopause, it seems like I can gain weight on air. I have to be incredibly careful with what I eat. I have to keep my calorie intake between 1000 and 1500 a day if I want to not gain anything and less if I want to shed a few pounds. While I am not overweight, I understand the struggle to not eat more than you should. Keep up the good fight everyone! I am so glad this thread can be here to support each other in trying to stay healthy (well as healthy as our aging bodies will allow
)
