Got the top for dad's quilt finished this morning. My sister had it 99% done - I just had to add the top and bottom borders and fix a couple seams where she didn't get all the fabric all the way caught in the seam.

Off to go find a backing for that one and the parasol that I showed yesterday. Already found a bear/tree/moose pattern to quilt it in.

We had quilts on display in a couple of our conference rooms. Maybe you could make a tribute to your Dad with the quilt.

One of the quilts was made from a navy uniform from WWII. It had medals and such pinned to it along with the persons name. It was very cool to see!
