The Old Folks Home

I will remind you that you can gloat in January when it's negative 400 here with 6 foot snow drifts.
Yes!

I need to find a place with a goldilocks zone...The central coast of California is one but it is quite pricey. Oregon coast would be ok, but there are a lot of low light days.

And a lot of places in Oregon dis like Californians...Colorado is supposed to have a nice area up north in the state but I do not know about that State. Other places are parts of Texas, Georgia, North and South Carolina and of course Florida and Hawaii.

Rain! Come on El Nino!

LOL.... Gotta love it.

Got one of those scammy phone calls "From Windows tech support" and before the guy could get into his spiel I cut him off with a "Oh, no. No, sir. We don't have a computer. We're Amish." "Oh," and he hung up.

The scammers call every once in a while, so I change it up on them just for yuks. Usually when I see the familiar area code or the caller ID I'll answer with "Hello. Department of Justice Consumer Fraud Division. Agent Wilson speaking" and they hang up and leave you alone for a good long time. It really has cut down on the daytime phone interruptions.

This morning was the first morning I'd classify as very cool here (high 50's @ dawn). A definite tinge of Fall in the air. My sister lives on the CA coast and her temps lately have been higher (98 in Santa Cruz) than here in the high desert. Lots of suffering as they don't have A/C...who needs it when most of the time it's fog?

Deb posted about the warm water in the Pacific. It has caused a lot of unusual heat on the coast this year. They usually get one or two hot days a year but have had a lot more hot days this year.

The coast should cool down tomorrow.

We are going to see some 50's this next week in the mornings! I'm ready for some nice cool weather! We need an emoticon that is sitting by a fire outside enjoying the weather.

Quote: My goodness Ron you are having Alabama weather. What happened?

Ron I don't know if you recall when I lost my Bronze tom that I found dead and sent to the lab to be tested. But I got the lab results back today. I do not understand them.
Would you help me if I scan them and asked you to read them and explain them for me? Please?
