The Old Folks Home

deb, a friend of mine is confined to a wheelchair, and got a cheap second hand desk to put in her kitchen and uses it like a kitchen counter. It's the right height for her to use for mixing, chopping, cutting, etc. in preparing food for her family.

Duh,..... I have one in my storage container. All steel All I need is to put a good top on it. And I think it will fit in the spot where I want a peninsula... VERY good idea thank you. Oooh and the center drawer would be an excellent knife drawer.... All lockable too... AWESOME...

I have been looking for an antique all steel kitchen for some time. Found one on Craigs list but I didnt have five hundred dollars for it....

The neighbors have commented how good it smells. Dh walked outside, then back in 3 times just so he could get the full effect of the smell of delicious...LOL!!!
I'll bet. I can barely cook and have to call and ask one of my kids for suggestions now and then. lol
But after working 3 jobs for nearly 30 yrs. I was never home to cook so when I got married again I told my husband I could not cook unless it was breakfast. lol
He said he did not mind that he was a chef in training. So between him and the kids I have learned how to cook most things.
But baking... That is another whole matter. I burn stuff out of a box!
