I just butchered our thanksgiving din din. Idiot was chasing my kids... big no no for the young jake. So I'll be cooking, probably freezing some of him for a grab as needed sandwhich fixins

Absolutely not. My ipad has been fritzing..

And I am cold... I have lots of depression issues when it gets so horrid cold.

So cold, I hate moving, no moving increases depression... Whatever.

I am wearing long johns 24/7 and thinking I need to up it to a double layer.

We are just at 0F, but since I prefer 89, this is purty darn cold.

Having to run about with full clothes (coat, at times hat, of course socks, etc.) when in the house doesn't help much either.

I feel you, and the dark doesn't help, either. Dark and cold means I end up in bed with the heated blankets on, wearing most of the clothes that I own... at 6 pm.

It get's to me also I crawl in bed with all my clothes on when it get's to cold here.

0 is pretty cold........has no temperature.....

I hate the less daylight most of all......

I leave for work it's dark, then it gets dark on the way home. really frustrating, because every day it waits to get totally dark just as I'm pulling in the driveway......likes it's teasing me.

The short daylight hours are getting to me too. I don't remember it bothering me so much in prior years.

Heated blankets.... AAAHHHHHH... used to love them, then hated them. Then I found the heated mattress pad, with little wires so thin you can barely feel them with your hand. Put the fitted sheet on and they almost disappear. Turn it on about a half hour before bed time.... heavenly.....

Hope everyone is safe in this latest storm. We are supposed to get some hard winds and rain. Figures, I set duck eggs last night....

no way on heated anything in the way of covers..........

give me a good top sheet, good wool blanket, and a quilt.........

if it gets to hot under the covers, I start kicking them off........
