The Old Folks Home

The Princess sends me to bed first. I am the heating pad and proud of it!
this.......first few times, during our first winter together........my wife would be like........why are you on my side of the bed?

I'd wink at her knowingly, and then roll over to my side and inform her, I was just heating up her side of the bed.......

I'd be on her side so that she couldn't sneak in without waking me.

My hubby is a heat box too, but he actually likes the therapeutic value of the heated mattress pad. Said his back always feels better when he uses it. He keeps his on the lowest setting, I keep mine around 2 of 10. King size... dual controls...

So yes, my side is the "hot" side...

It was tough and dry. Much different than store bought chicken. I didnt take pics because I didnt want my wife to get suspicious. She and my kid still dont have a clue that they ate meanie.
She will surely notice him being gone soon
For old birds, especially roosters, process, rest for two days in the fridge and brine them. Smoking might work better if you moisture cook some first.

We have the thermal dog who sneaks up on the bed and sleeps inbetween us. Usually I get roasted out of bed in the morning as the dog tries to horn in on my side by throwing his weight around. However, in the winter it's kind of a tug-o-war as to who has the dog snuggling (a one-dog night, as it were). When the greyhound lays his back along mine it's better than any heating pad. And in winter the dog does tend to lay close as he's got not much body fat of his own to warm him.

We have thermal dogs too. A pug and a pomapoo. The pomapoo stays at the bottom as a foot warmer. The pug has to be between us. Makes the covers make an M, and I usually get the short leg of it! He can weigh a dang ton when he is asleep.
