It sounds like someone from the IRS set up the ovation system.

Thanks for the ovation "boost" @ronott1 and @BertS

I can't find any numbers anywhere that says how many I have available to give... daily or otherwise... I don't want to just start handing out ovations till I run out so I can count how many I was allowed... Then I'd be out again...

I think maybe now I'll just have to become an "ovation hoarder" and stockpile them... saving them up for only the most special/deserving posts... and even then I won't give them since I may run out! jeeeze... So I guess I'll just have to move along and when I run out, I run out.

With 50 THOUSAND+ posts @drumstick diva you must have a plethora of ovations received as well as available to you to give! My ratio of ovations to posts is running at about 18-19%, so it stands to reason that you must have 10 thousand or so ovations... I don't have as many unique ovations, less than 1% of posts... because I don't post all over the site... I pretty much stay on 6-8 threads. Oh well... not really affecting my overall quality of life...

OK, enough obsessing over ovations... Life is moving past and much more important!

And it's likely a beautiful day in CO

OK... so I just tried to give an ovation to Bama... the response was "You are over your limit for rating content. Please try again later." So with all of that, from yesterday to today, I think I was "granted" 5 ovations to give out. So there ya have it Dude... ovation for you denied! story of your life huh?

On the brighter news front. The Army Corps of Engineers has discovered radioactive lawns at homes at the bottom of the hill from my house.

Kind of a long story but St. Louis was where the first atomic bombs were made and they stored the waste near the airport back during and after WWII.
Coldwater Creek starts there and has been sending radiation to the Missouri River just above its confluence with the Mississippi since that time. Occasionally the creek floods into people's backyards. They then get contaminated. This is the same creek the mink came from that Wal-Mart sent my way when they cut down all the woods to build the store less than 1000 yards from my house as the crow flies.
I'm glad I'm uphill.
Too bad mink can climb hills.

The bridge at the 0:56 second mark on the video is the one at the bottom of the hill from my house.

More good news.

It saves on both hardware, and electric costs when your yard glows in the dark. No outdoor lighting required. It's easier to tell if your neighbors are home when they glow. It should be a breeze to spot glowing predators.
