Awe, thank you! YAY for rain! I'm just south of Big Bear mountain, they got more snow this week than they had all year last year. If the storms keep coming as predicted, that might save the diseased forest. I drove past Oroville 2 years ago, it was heartbreaking then! We're also getting a break till Sat, but it's looking pretty ominous right now. Of course! Just in time for afternoon chores!
you're up near Sacramento? 16 inches is a bunch! Sure hope it happens and at only an inch per day or so. Are you in any danger of flooding or sliding where you are? Keep me posted?

We will not slide but could have small stream flooding. I am in the new part of Woodland and the drains still work here.

I'm at 3400 ft east of Placerville ( about a hour east of Sacramento ) so far this rain season we have had snow fall 8 times though it's stuck only 4 ( 1" then 2" 6" then 2" ) it snowed 6 inches on Xmas eve and stuck till last Sunday night. We so far have had 23" of rain up here

We will be walking the snow line again with probable flurries or a dusting followed by more rain next week

Were gettin snow in the Lagunas and Cuyamacas. That mountain range is what I have to pass to get home. My house is at 3200 feet so we may get a bit of snow kind of leftovers from the mountains .

Today we had to call 911 for my grandma. She was weak and claimed she couldnt walk. though she walked to the door to call me. We didnt take any chances and called the paramedics.

They ran her through a battery of tests and could find nothing wrong. 'cept that shes 99 and she may need a bit of food at bed time. Yesterday she didnt eat much. Her norm but she worries that shes going to get fat...

Shes watching Wheel of fortune right now munching on Ritz crackers sandwitched around pemento Cream cheese. We will see how she does to morrow.
