The paneer is a kind of Indian cheese, but what the boys made ended up looking exactly like standard crumbled feta. They seasoned with salt, pepper, parsely, and dill.
The Ricotta is crazily actually Ricotta!they seasoned it like the one above.![]()
I am so impressed! All they did was use old goat milk, heat it up, add some vinegar, and strain it. They took the whey that strained out, and recooked it at a higher temp, strained that, and tada! Ricotta!!! After the second straining, there wasn't actually all that much left over whey... Kids are thinking that what is left over, they will use to cook some rice.
Again, I am stuned! I was so sure the first try would be an epic fail, but both are actually tasty!!!!![]()
I'm curious for some feedback here.
