The Old Folks Home

Since I ordered my incubator, I've been collecting eggs, setting them in containers, and on towels on my counter, sorted by date, which hen, rooster, etc. Last night as Dh went to work, he grabbed 18 of my eggs, put them in an egg carton, and took them to work to give to a co-worker. When I discovered what he had done, I was NOT happy. I had eggs he could have given the co-worker that I had no intention of hatching, had he asked me. When my incubator arrived, I was scrounging for eggs to hatch. I was giving him the stink eye, and shoulder lean.
I guess that is a common problem.

I move eggs for hatching upstairs into the master bathroom. It takes too much effort to go up the stairs so they leave them alone!(more humidity up there too...)

My incubator arrived.

I cleaned it all up, and set it in my incubation area, on my little table, added distilled water to the resivoir.

I loaded it with 19 (maybe) viable eggs. Grrrr, and stink eye to Dh.

Then I started it. It came to life. The temp climbed quickly, and steadily to 99.5. It's programmed at 45% humidity, until lockdown, but I lowered that to 40% humidity, until lockdown.

There must be something good on TV, or my deodorant failed. Where is everyone?

Sniff sniff.... wasnt me....
