The Old Folks Home

Uhhhggggg!!!! I hate it when I reach for one thing and end up with the other.

whats worse is you put it down and reach for one thing and still come up with the other......

Then you completely forget why you wanted it in the first place.... Walk off to do something else and DANG you needed that thing to do this thing..... Then go back and stand there trying to remember WHY.....

Or when you do something that I do all the time:

I'm at point A, and need to go do something at point C, but there's some item at point A that needs to go to point B, and since I will pass point B on the way to point C, I take the item with me, thus saving time by making only one trip. When I arrive at point C, I realize that I still have the item in my hand, and I know that if I put it down, I will forget it, and having it lying around at point C instead of at point A - not really an improvement on the situation. So I must now take the item back to point B. When I arrive at point B, something there needs to be done, then something else, then I go back to doing whatever it was that I was doing at point A that I interrupted to make the trip to point C, and then I remember what I needed to do at point C, so I head off to do it . . . . . .

No wonder I never get anything done - but I'll bet I rack up some impressive mileage.

Sounds exactly like me.

Eggs are starting to hatch... So :barnie but in a good way. I just wish I could push a button and have them all jump out, get it over with.

I needed 4 segregated areas for this hatch  and there were two pips as I was sorting and corralling the eggs.... Silly bantams, always wanting to hatch early.

You should have seen me...I was doing a quick candle as I sorted and corralled the eggs, and whenever I got to a clearly dead or clear egg I was all "oh good, so glad that one is dead, because now I can take the egg out of the incubator" unfortunately, since the eggs in the styro-bator were my homegrown eggs, I think I only took out 5.

In a regular styro-bator I had stuffed almost 7 dozen eggs, with another couple dozen that I put in last week balanced on top of the older eggs, that I moved over to the Brinsea today....after candling and removing the clears from the shipped eggs in the Brinsea.

I began collecting, and sorting new eggs for hatching eggs today. I want to hatch out from the two hens that got 1st. and 2nd. at the poultry show, and 1 other hen. They are paired up with my original rooster (their dad). The eating eggs are in the egg basket, and I don't care about them so much, but NOBODY better touch my hatching eggs again, or I'm going to get out my Crazy Chicken Lady Survival Kit, which includes Super Glue, Duct Tape, a Hammer, and a list of really creative ideas on how to use them. LOL!
