Those are the mental illnesses that we hear about on the news.

I took a class called Abnormal Psychology. It was one of my favorite classes.

Here is the flock mobbing the kids trying to feed them some corn.

As to the nipple install, the best way is to drill the hole required by the proper tap (stamped on the shank) and then carefully screw the tap in keeping it as perpendicular to the surface as you can and test often as you proceed to check the fit. Once you have the first hole set, use a hose clamp to stop the tap at the correct depth so all holes will be the same. You can do this on buckets or pvc. The trick is to get the correct depth so the nipple firs tightly but doesnt distort the hole (in the case of thin material) or squash the threads. It requires patience but the result is worth it.

Taps are not that expensive and once you have it you can use it over and over on other projects. Even if your drill is imperfect and makes an imperfect hole the tap should correct it with a little finnesse. Properly done you should not need any epoxy.

I tell people I had a nervous break down back in 2000 .... they say yah right.... I am close to having one now but have to hold it togeher for my sons sake. But shut down is coming....

I was always fascinated byt the thought of Multiple personalities.... but I have dealt with a mom that is very agrophobic at one point she would not drive in a car unless dad was at the wheel. Because she knew she couldnt yank the wheel out of his hand. She has improved by huge amounts over the years to good psychiatry and good medications. though she still uses it to get her way... I am working still on that one.

I can sooo understand why people who have issues they are working out themselves that choose the Psychiatric profession.

If it would help, get a textbook and do some studying.

How is your novel going? That might be very good therapy for you.

When life gets as hard as it is for you, It is easy to neglect the things that make us happy. You are one of my heroes!

Taking care of aging parents is really tough and you have a 99 year old Grand Mother on top of it.

Ditto that!!
Double ditto here!!! I can't imagine my taking that on longterm like Deb (altho I know if it were to become necessary I would try but probably fail miserably, except for my DH of course, I have already told him many times he will never see a 'home" as long as I have a muscle left) I also PITY any family member who might try to care for me in the future. I have always been fiercely independent (drove my poor DH crazy when I broke my leg/ankle. I would wait until he went outside to sneak myself in/out of my wheelchair, etc.). Tho I actually enjoy doing things for others, that's probably how I wound up doing the hospice care at three different times for friends/neighbors.
I am, at best, very uncomfortable with people doing things for me, most of the time flat out hating it. Me being forced to depend upon someone else's help? That person would need LOTS of prayers!
