The Walmart near me sells cheek and tongue, so maybe someday I'll see if I can whip something up. Also have a "custom processing" faciltity nearby and I've been thinking about seeing what they do with their beef and lamb kidneys, 'cause DH would really like it if I made a steak and kidney pie for him.

I bought Tongue was Corned like corned beef.

But have only cooked it about two times. I found it lean and tender and very flavorful.

I eat liver and cook it myself Beef liver and chicken livers but I am the only one that likes it I would love to taste Kidney cooked by someone who knows what they are doing.... Same for Lamb fries...

Family is southern background so I grew up with Pickled Pigs Feet.... I would love to learn how to make them myself The geleatin alone is good for arthritis... just like any bones and cartillage that is stewd a long time....

I am a food adventurer so I would taste anything as long as they didnt tell me what it was first. that would be including Baluts... though there are certain textures I cant get past... so I have to play it by what I can get down.

I can imagine.... I watch Bizzar Foods with Andrew Zimmern..... love the show cant watch him eat worms....
 
Many times, folks will consider an ethnic food gross or distasteful but usually that is because they have not tried it or been exposed to it.

I will taste it all.... first of all to not offend but secondly because I know the oddest bits often times are wonderful tasting. For instance Blood cake or Blood sausage... I have had the cake in Pho... Not a fan but I wont turn it down because I am certain there are good recipes out there for it. I would love to give blood sausage a try as long as someone could make a good recommendation on which brand to buy... Or if there was someone making it from scratch as in a party or potluck.

Now I have goats as pets but I would not turn down barbequed or stewed goat and all the bits and piecs that can be cooked from it.

Fermented duck egg for example. Or that rotten fish that is supposedly so disgusting that you aren't allowed to eat it on a plane or bus because the smell can make you throw up.
