OUCH!!!!!!! Those are the worst, somehow those accidental injuries are often worse than the ones they do on purpose. Definitely a rude awakening!!!Oh, sure, pull up a chair. There are a few seats reserved for some really special folks that don't show up very often (y'all know who you are!) but there's always room for new old folks here.![]()
You mentioned the cat in the middle of the list - it might top the "pain" list if it had done what mine did to me yesterday. I've had a cold, so I was dozing on the couch, and this stupid beast jumped right on my face on his way to the back of the couch. I am now sporting a 1/2-inch long scratch down the side of my nose . . . talk about a rude awakening! He's really a sweet cat, wouldn't hurt me deliberately, but look where you're going you stupid animal!!![]()
BTW Walmart used to have gift cards in the shape, color etc. of a piece of coal. I thought it was hysterical, I gave one to each bus driver and the dispatchers - they did not seem amused. Yes, I also kept a couple to have activated for other people later. Plus one card that I used up, I kept just because it was so darn cute.
Hello all, I was lurking on your thread....can I come over and play? Winters coming on in northern Illinois where I am. Kids are all grown up and out of the house and winter is a lonely time. Its just me, 4 dogs, 18 chickens, a cat, chinchilla and tropical fish. Animals listed in order of how big a pain they are. Cat, chinchilla and fish were the kids...kids left but the animals stayed - no fair!
Wishing everyone a great day
Good morning! Wet drizzly day outside, so guess it's a day to get things done inside for me. Probably a good thing I have one sister coming for an overnight next weekend (she'll be en route from HI to MT) and another that will be coming at some point in the hopefully near future to spend a month recovering from a kidney transplant (she lives outside the "one hour" limit from the hospital) -- might be a good time to think about getting a guest room set up here, lol.

Yep Aquarium enthusiast here.... I have a 110 waiting in my carport at home..... They are like a big picture window and as satisfying as watching a fireplace.... IN my last house I had about three hundred gallons of various aquarium setups Mostly vivariums and support tanks.
I want to raise up some Tilapia eventually to send the fry out to some big tanks to be setup in the greenhouse room. But once I get those going the tank is going back to a community tank. I am an odd bird. Last setup I had was a commmunity tank... with a school of Neon Tetras, Rasbora, Angel fish and a plecostomus the size of a bedroom slipper.... Odd fish too .... geophagus jurpari, upside down cats, Banjo cats, leaf fish....
Mature Neon tetras get to be over an inch long....
