The Old Folks Home

Okay as you may or may not know I am living with my BF 70 and his Son 34.. I had no children
raised my step daughter... James said when Dad is gone we will buy a smaller place where he
can care for me until I need to go into a nursing type home

That's a good young man and step....well, ya, son. Mother is a verb as well as a noun.

My meeting went well.

I chose Type O Negative covering Black Sabbath's Paranoid for my entry.

They're going to discuss and get back to me in a month as far as what they're willing to have me do. I was offered a part time sexton position but it wasn't clear what exactly they'd want from me, so I turned it down.
Nice tunes!

In seeing your post further back with the pics of the cemetery and the broken headstone, I do believe we'd get along famously with your attention to detail...and my perfectionistic personality. I'm OCD both ways. Why not fix the headstone properly? My sentiments exactly.

Not sure how.....

But when I was looking up records (geneology stuff), I found my grandmother listed as deceased at birth.

Very odd...since she grew up, married, had two kids, and died at age 80.
When and where was she born? was it possible there where twins born she was the one that
survived?

Oh, that is funny. My mom, turning 62, sent off for a copy of her birth certificate. After 62 years she found out her real name wasn't even close to what she had gone by her whole life. We asked a lawyer if it mattered and should she have her name legally changed to what she had gone by and he said no, it really didn't matter.

Life is strange.

Small town... she was listed as a single birth, not a twin. Also, the dead child had the same name.

So I just think someone checked the wrong box. :hu

Years ago, when I still lived in Los Angeles, I went to my local Wells Fargo to deposit my paycheck (the days before direct deposit). The teller looked at me funny and asked me to wait while she got the manager. Seems that I had died and the Social Security Administration had frozen all my accounts at the bank and everywhere else. Turns out that if that happens it is up to you to prove you are still alive. It took over a year to get everything back to alive-status.
