The Old Folks Home

Thanks!
She was riding with her Christian motorcycle group at a freeway entrance when she was cut off. The motorcycle flipped and she rolled, breaking the left wrist and cracking a bone in the foot. Lots of other injuries too. Her left side is still very weak and the left wrist works at about 30%. It will be Three years in August.

Still rides too!
Sounds like a tough girl

grew up with dirt bikes so started riding them at 9, bought my first street at 19 kz 500
cousin and his wife came out on a huge honda all decked out he said get what is comfortable and you can lift bought a if you can call light Harley sportster rode
that till graves and the stroke... sure do miss it....
Same here! Got my first dirt bike at 14, a Honda 125. Still have it...lol. Used my uncle's 550 Kawasawki until I graduated. Drove the dirtbike, then farm quad. Just bought a Harley sportster from DH's friend a few years back. We were going to buy two bikes and ride. I'm not really sure when we thought we'd have time...lol.

What's pop in a can? Abattoir?:D

Trailered him an hour to the auction mart. From there

Gosh...such a gorgeous bull! But a gorgeous bull does not a good bull make.:( His calves were too big & too dumb...very little vigor at all. The bull got out last night. The bull goes down the road today. DH has zero tolerance for that.

The bull will make a lot of high quality, tasty burger. It sucks. He was a fine tempered fellow. We hate shipping animals. :(
That's a bummer. :hugs

The place we go to is a breeding spot for lady bugs. When they gather, there are thousands of them! We have collected them and released them at our place. It works! We had no aphids on the roses this year.

That's wonderful for you Ron! Here they winter over in everyone's houses and leave come spring. For the first time I found two in my garden this year! :D

Ron you have a beautiful family. Love the pics Stoney Creek looks beautiful.
I hope your wife fully recovers from her accident.
Pretty light video also.
Thanks!
My Youngest DD pointed out the light and I was able to zoom in with my camera.

back very early 80's had a car come across two lanes to hit my back tire I was on the kz knew I was going down jumped so the pipe could not burn me ruptured my knee cap, my acl and shoved the leg 1/2 inch up into the hip.. had the bike repaired then bought the Harley :love

My Ma was always panicked when I was on my bike... I would not want to ride any more these days around town we live in maybe but that's it freeway is taking your life in your hands in a vehicle
Oh gosh! You too? Yikes! I'm glad your hopefully (mostly) ok. That's a lot of parts that don't heal very quickly.

When DH and I were dating, we had a friend go into a roll and get killed with his racing bike. That soured DH on my riding a bike. It's one thing to have an accident in vehicle...it's a whole other thing to have an accident on a bike.

And I seem to be a magnet for having people meeting me on my side of the road since 2010. It's happened 8-9 times...and two of those times was while I was driving the school bus...full of students. :barnie With the truck I've been able to go down into the ditch. With a bike...the options are limited. I haven't driven far from home when it was licensed. I need a garage like Ironman so I can just look at the bike/vehicles.:love I'd be pretty happy doing just that...lol.
