We had to call to complain. They wanted to schedule Monday the 12. We have not had a sink in the bathroom or kitchen down stairs since Sunday. I did put the oven back in and plywood on the counters.

I HATE that when this happens! So frustrating!
Good for you for calling them. It's never urgent when it's not their house.

ours is built on a decline the front screen room and office sit up quite a ways

Well, Critter's having himself a good ol' gripefest this evening. He had a package from Ebay that he's been tracking for over a week now. Supposedly, it arrived at the local Post Office during the pre-dawn hours this morning, and was delivered/picked up between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Here's the catch - we were home all day, and when he heard the postal carrier's truck (at a time well past 10 o'clock), he went out to check the mailbox to see if there was a card to go get the package. No card, no time for someone to have removed it from the box - according to the tracking, the package had already been picked up by then. He suspects a glitch in the system and the package is still at the Post Office - I sure hope he's right.

Rainy, dreary, nothin' better to do - Critter went down to the post office and managed to corner the carrier. Seems she couldn't find the house (our driveway is about 150' long, and trees obscure the house from the road) so she dumped the box on a porch a block over. That took a little doing; that house is back in the woods, too. The neighbor didn't want it; they called the post office to come get it. The saga continues . . . .

Wow, bunny. I hope that after you secure your package, you speak to her supervisor about how she just dumped your package any ol' where, instead of getting it to the right address.

Ron, I know it's frustrating having to wait, but I'm sure it will be really nice when they finally get all the counters in. Be sure to post pics.
