The Old Folks Home

probably too late with this but I ordered from Hoover's Hatchery this year. Never going to ever order from anyone else! Healthiest, friendliest growing into the most beautiful close to SOP hatchery birds I've ever seen!!! Did I say I really like Hoover's Hatchery???
Sounds good, where are they located?

Could you post a couple pictures, Alaskan?

see I still am into my barred rocks every day an egg from each
I've got just one and she's so much nicer than I imagined. Strange thing though...she's in the back with Chewbacca (EE/Silkie hen) and the rest of the chicks. They are by far the oldest two females. Chewy was the broody...and she was laying an egg every day in the one nest box. There was one of those super tiny eggs laid, I stepped on it...but Chewy had already laid her egg in the nest. My barred rock pullet was only about 2.5 months old a the time. No other hen had been in there. No extra eggs since that...lol.

I'm not as familiar with the Polish and the Spitz...but they look lovely! :love I have a weakness for black, so I like the black and white one. It "sort of" looks like a spangled Hamburg. I was/am planning to get one dozen Speckled Sussex, SS Hamburg and Leghorn eggs to hatch. If I knew we'll get the bigger coop done I'd already have them in the incubator. I'm just not sure we'll get it done.

I've been wanting SLW :love but lucked out with the EEs I hatched earlier this year. Most ended up being black and white and I think :fl most are pullets. I have two visible roosters so far. The black with white "may" be a cockerel too.

I don't think I'll need SLW. These are just as nice...as least for me. They seem to be a lovely line...so far.

And here's a pic of the ducks. They seem to be doing really well.
At least they haven't died yet.:wee
