It sounds like the starter is a hit!
love it the guys begged for more and love that I am being domestic
but what the hay keeps me busy and active
I get requests for sourdough bread too. I baked the sourdough biscuits on Saturday to go along with mushroom soup. It went well with stew yesterday too.
I love it when I send a start and it goes well!

I just got my batch of starter out of the mail box, it is being started as we type.
I did not want to infer he did not alright.. I am seasoned enough to know not to ever discuss religion... have mine very strong but am smart enough to love outside it holding it close always

I actually used your bread recipe and used 1 tablespoon of yeast 1 cup of starter all else the same
Adding the yeast will make it all rise faster. To get it to be more sour, not adding yeas is the way to go. Rest time double though.
The bread is great either way though.
