San Diego weather is Odd Cloudy and chilly in the morning 77 ish and clear and 90s in the afternoon.... No rain...

Ron is in Northern California... Often times we are the same and often times we are way different... LOL.

I think old folk really represents the accumulation of knowledge...

Can I get a Hallelujah?! We are getting rain! I think the fire is being put out finally up the canyon. We have been coughing every morning for the past several weeks. the whole valley has been smoke-filled for so long. A lot of people have been suffering. We will have nice clean air when this is all done. There was a lot of lightning, hoping it doesn't start a fire somewhere, but, having said that I think there is enough rain that it shouldn't start another.

Love that cartoon! Hows California weather right now? We just finished a good rain from Hurricane Irma.

Today is sunny and going to be 85 for a high. We are coming off of last week with highs up to 115.

I'm 29...


I used to have a water bed, then I slept with a knife one night (don't know why), and that was the end of that... so then I got an air mattress, at least if I popped that one everything wouldn't get wet... then the cats poked it full of holes... I could pump it up and by morning it would be flat as a pancake... so I gave up, tossed the mattress and folded up a comforter to fit... that worked and didn't go flat!

Once I woke up with a couple of swords in my bed.

My Daughters like knives. Two of them have replica swords. One has a fantasy sword from one of the online games. The other has some Japanese swords.

My Oldest DD used to sleep with her rock collection. Whatever helps you sleep I suppose....Watch out for pointy things though....

Nah...the swords were the kids, back when they were younger. They had for some unknown reason ended up in the master bedroom with their swords, then left them on the bed.

Spouse and I didn't even notice them. Then in the middle of the night I rolled over and discovered them. Clearly...they were pretty dull. So nice.

Luckily swords are sold un sharpened. The Daughters asked me to get them sharpened but I never did. The Youngest did get a knife sharpener though...Hers might be sharper
