The Old Folks Home

Wow Chicka... How in the world did a shedding snake get in your dining room? That's wild! I can't make out the coloration well enough to know what kind it is, but it almost looks like it could be a copperhead or maybe a rat snake... Ahhhh OK, just answered that Q... Thanks for not killing it and for putting it back where it can do its job! :old Good on ya! :clap

we had cotton mouths in Wisconsin Ma talked of having to abandon the well at her family farm as they had invaded the well little pieces of them and blood in the pump water
Around here the worst one is rattlesnakes. Lots of them in the foothills. Mostly in the valley we have garden snakes

This is a pic that I did not zoom in. Ls can you tell if it indeed a rat snake.
Not sure how they get in. Dh said they just always have. It's a very old house and they just get in. No telling how long it's been in here either. Luckily it did not take off when we found it. I would not want to try chasing one down! They scare the mess out of me!

I have always liked and handled snakes. The concept of being afraid of them is foreign to me. As long as they are not poisonous, i am good with them.

Penny I have looked all over the house I can't find a hole.
Once a black snake came out of our bedroom. I had my dh tear his closet apart he did find a mouse hole but he sale it up.
I looked all over again this morning and we can't figure it out.:barnie
